Rated 5 out of 5Â by AaronjR Bretty much; brilliant!
I love this phone. The screen is amazing and Sense 4.0 keeps on pleasantly surprising me over and over. The build quality is amazing, it feels really good in the hand, and despite it's size, it doesn't feel bulky because of it's light weight and thin sleek beautiful design.
The battery life is not great, but not terrible. It requires battery management to keep it going a full day with what I would consider, moderate use, where as my last phone would last a full day with out having to think about it.
Another bummer is the headphones that came with it. After all the hype of "Beats Audio integrated everywhere," I would have expected at least some in-ear headphones, even if they were not "Beats" headphones.
But, overall, this is an amazingly pleasant phone to use and just to look at; did I mention how nice the design is?! Everything just works well and seamlessly. The line "Quietly Brilliant" is appropriate.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Kieshwa Terrible battery, slow loading
Battery lasts me < 8-9 hours, which is pretty inconvenient, can't use the HTC Live background or I face 5 seconds of loading every time I return to home screen.
Touch screen is often unresponsive too.
If I had the ability to time travel, I would warn my past self not to get this phone.
I regret purchasing it.

I only got this Phone yesterday but it handles nicely and seems very responsive, the screen looks good and i was surprised how quick it can snap photo's. I was coming from a Iphone and the screen is awesome on this being a bit bigeer i am stil getting used to the operationg system but seems pretty easy. I just hope it holds up with time as well as my iphone did.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Geoff Worst mistake of my life.
HTC One - word, terrible.
Screen Brightness on full, running a game, battery lasted two and a half hours. This is deplorable by all means.
Loading bar for the HomeScreen is pathetic, find me another phone that does this. Sense is nothing but a memory-hog.
For those of you that are thinking of purchasing this 'smart' phone, don't. Trust me.
Expected excellence, provided with mediocrity.

HTC Legend was my first smartphone, I hold it proud among all the iPhone 3G friends. Then I owned Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy SII and Motorola Razr. They all great phones but none get me so excited as the One X.
The phone itself such a thing of beauty. Regardless whatever people say "it's not glass and metal", it just feel right. Despite its size, it doesn't feel bulky. I was surprise to find out that it actually bigger than Galaxy SII.
The screen is one of the greatest out there at the moment, although I prefer Super AMOLED plus instead. Put it this was, I prefer SGS II lower resolution display over iPhone 4 retina display. I think this is just a matter or personally preference.
Sense 4.0 is so sweet in my opinion, it is just beautiful not too obtrusive as previous version. When I left HTC Legend for Nexus S I was under the impression that the stock android is the only way to go. Then i decided to try TouchWiz (Samsung) and then Motoblur (Motorola Razr), just for the sake of get a feel of what out there. Now that I have return to HTC Sense, I can confidently say that HTC has done a great job in refining its UI. HTC Sense will not disappoint you.
Battery life - too soon to decide, but i have read bad experiences from other users. I hope HTC will take this seriously.
Camera - I have not tested it yet. I do not care much because I do not believe phone camera will ever replace the compact/dSLR, at least for the time being. So i am carrying a dedicated camera.
Sound Quality - average, to me equivalent to Samsung and Motorola.
Keyboard - get the one right for you. There are millions of them. I use Htc keyboard, it works just like others.
Accessory - Not widely available anywhere yet. If there are any I can assure you. "THEY WILL BE BLOODY EXPENSIVE!!". I don't think I will spend extra money on accessory which is not compatible with any other device.

Been using the phone for a week and I loved it - it's so slim and fast it's incredible. The camera - as we all know - is simple the best and the strongest feature of this phone. Easy to use, good quality and you can record and take photos at the same time!
The beats audio is also great. The sound quality is good when playing music and you can't really tell it's playing through the loud speaker of a phone.
All in all one x is truly an amazing phone. It's not the best, of course. The battery life can be a bit short depending on what you do with your phone. However, it's a common problem that many smartphones face today. Other than that, the phone is awesome and you really can't find another better phone on the market

Never before have I had a phone that hasn't left me wanting something. This phone ticks every box and then some.
Apart from having the best camera I've ever used, everything "just works" with no fuss.
