Rated 1 out of 5 by Unstable Signal Strength Had my Telstra HTC one S for since the 17th PRO - Its quick the 1.7Ghz chip does the job fine. - Thin feels good in the hand. - Screen is awsome - With standard headphones and Power Amp app with beats audio turned on music sounds awsome!!! - Camera is AWSOME CONS - It may be 16gb storage but u only get 2.21gb internal storage and 9.93gb phone storage. - The Signal Strength IS AWFULL ! ( its not blue ticked) The single is not stable it always going up and down and drops out all the the time while sitting on table in one spot (its sitting beside my htc desire at the moment HTC desire -87dBm 13 asu.Htc One S -114dBm 0 asu ( its dropped out 3 times in last hour sitting in same spot going from 14 asu - 0 asu. - Call quality is tinny (just like my desire) - Youtube doesnt sound as good as it did on Desire - Led notification light is hard to see ( its behind speaker grill its not even worth it and thats what loved about my Desire) - Loud speaker is poor ( just like my Desire) July 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Slim and big at the same time. Great design, excellent performance sense does not overlap on ICS too much. The S4 chip can handle its ground pretty well without draining the battery like the previous generation chip. The screen size is perfect without it feeling too large for your hand. Camera is the best. Wish there was a 32Gb model. July 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Strongly recommend others to use htc one S I love htc phones very much as htc is really "quietly brilliant". I think Htc one S looks really smart, even smarter than other htc one products and others like samsung S3 etc. Moreover it's quite easy to use as the system helps you a lot so that you can have fun with your new phone:) The battery life is not very long but I think it's acceptable. Comparing with other brands, this works quite well although it can sill have some improvement. The design works great :D It's slim and the size is suitable for nearly everyone that you can hold your phone with one hand. It's also very light. Some more improvements: the camera needs to be more faster in focus. Also, the auto brightness always too bright. In overall, because I don't change phones very often, but I think One S is the greatest phone I've ever use:) July 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best phone So many great features such as face recognition and sliding keyboard, easy to use, the camera is great, and great screen size. August 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Phone I've ever owned This phone is great. It has a great premium feel, the camera is awesome, battery life is alright (with light normal use I got 3-4 days out of it). I picked this over the S3 because of screen size, and I have not regretted that option. I feel that the 4.3" screen is perfect for easy one-handed use, and the phone is superior to the S3 in build quality aswell. Highly recommend this phone :) P.s The Beats audio speakers are AWESOME !!! October 4, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disfigured cover piece Today I recieved my HTC One S, however, I was disappointed to find, on arrival, that one of the plastic prongs on the top cover part had not been correctly manufactured. It is slightly odd-shaped compared to the one on the opposite side and this means that the top part does not close properly. I am quite annoyed because I now have to talk to my service provider and try and have it sent back and fixed etc. I had heard in reviews how HTC's phones have great build quality but I can't back that up. I am hoping the phone itself will be great but my experience so far, has been poor. Disappointing HTC :( December 11, 2012
