Installation Instructions:
1. Hardware Requirements (PC)
1 GHz or higher processor clock speed recommended
512 MB of RAM or higher recommended
Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
50 MB of available free hard disk space
USB 2.0 is required

3. Installation Instructions
Windows XP
1. Click Download below to download “HTC Sync.zip” and “HTCDriverUpdate_WinXP.exe” to your PC.
2. Unzip “HTC Sync.zip” and run “HTC Sync.exe” to install it to your PC.
3. Use the USB cable to connect your phone to the PC (if the phone is not connected to the PC there will be a sync failure).
4. Launch “HTCDriverUpdate_WinXP.exe” from your PC. During this process, “HTCDriverUpdate_WinXP” will scan for the phone automatically. The whole process may take about 1 to 2 minutes (time will vary based on your PC CPU speed).
5. After the scan has finished the installation window will close. This indicates that your phone has successfully connected to your PC.
Note：If the phone didn’t connect properly to the PC a warning message will appear on the installation screen and it will not automatically close. Please close the installation screen manually and redo steps 4 and 5.
6. From your PC, launch HTC Sync.
7. On the phone, pull down the notification bar to confirm that HTC Sync is connected.
8. On your PC, click Synchronize Now on the HTC Sync screen.
Windows Vista
*1. Click Download below to download “HTC Sync.zip” and “HTCDriverUpdate_Vista_32bits.exe” or “HTCDriverUpdate_Vista_64bits.exe” to your PC.
2. Unzip “HTC Sync.zip” and run “HTC Sync.exe” to install it to your PC.
3. Use the USB cable to connect your phone to the PC (if the phone is not connected to the PC there will be a sync failure).
4. Right click “HTCDriverUpdate_Vista_32bits.exe” or “HTCDriverUpdate_Vista_64bits.exe”, depending on the version you downloaded, and then select “Run as Administrator”. During this process, HTCDriverUpdate_Vista will scan for the phone automatically. The whole process may take about 1 to 2 minutes (time will vary based on your PC CPU speed).
Note: You must select “Run as Administrator” under Vista, otherwise a sync failure will occur.
5. After the scan has finished the installation window will close. This indicates that your phone has successfully connected to your PC.

*To see if your computer is running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows, do the following:
1. Open System by clicking the Start > Control Panel > System and Maintenance > System.
2. Under System, you can view the system type.
Warning!
* The installation process takes up to several minutes. It is recommended that you close all programs on your PC prior to starting the installation program and do not open any applications or files while the installation is in process.
