  1. Available storage is less due to phone software.
  2. Network bands in regions other than Europe and Asia Pacific may be different, depending on the mobile operator and your location. Upload and download speeds also depend on the mobile operator.
  3. Battery times (talk time, standby time, and more) are subject to network and phone usage.

A Standby time specification ("specification") is an industry standard that is only intended to allow comparison of different mobile devices under the same circumstances. Power consumption in a standby state is strongly dependent on factors including but not limited to network, settings, location, movement, signal strength and cell traffic . Comparisons of different mobile devices using such a specification can therefore only be done in a controlled laboratory environment . When using any mobile device in real life circumstances for which the mobile device is intended, the standby time could be considerably lower and will be strongly dependent on the factors as mentioned above.

Note: Specifications are subject to change without prior notice

Rated 3 out of 5 by An OK phone The main reason I bought this phone because it was the cheapest windows 8 phone when it came out. After almost 3 months of use; the rubberized skin on the upper corner started to peel-off; internal memory was all used up. And when I'm browsing pages or watching videos online, it would occasionally go back to the home screen and erase the session completely. So, did I regret buying this phone? Not really. It is still a windows 8 which I oh so dearly like. Should HTC PH allow me to trade this in for a 8x then that would be great. March 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by HTC Windows Phone 8S Review Certainly the best phone I ever had, but internal memory is too small even if you have a memory card. March 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Windows Phone 8S By HTC A great all round phone. Fast, easy to use and stylish. And on contract for £11 per month, great quality comes cheap. March 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by FANTASTIC phone BUT be warned! Having never really got on that well with Android and I would rather have two paper cups and some string than an I phone! Windows 8 seemed a logical step. I am not disappointed the phone has a great interface which is easily customable to my choice of tiles. The movement of contacts was simplicity itself easiest I have ever moved contacts to a new phone. Adding photos or music is just like using a memory device you can create new folders delete old ones - just so easy! Or you can just use the camera. Best of all it makes and receives calls and texts which is really what a phone is for. It looks a million dollars it’s nice and light if I had to sum this phone up in one sound bite “It just works” BE WARNED a lot said about the memory on this phone I have over a gigabyte of memory left but I do not do lots of apps and toys so if this is your thing this could be filled pretty quickly so this phone may not be the best choice for you. I have added a 16gig memory card which is plenty for my pictures and movies it would appear you cannot tell the phone where to put the apps so I imagine everyone is correct and you cannot add apps to the memory card. Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect all-rounder phone The phone is not the best out there, but for the price you get an excellent package. The design of the phone is phenomenal, build quality is fantastic and the size is just right. I like a lot of things in this phone and only have some minor issues with it. I'd appreciate a slightly sharper Camera, and currently there is a small WinPhone8 bug related to storage (this however should be fixed). March 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great phone. For me it is a very good phone. it's quite cheap so it was obvious to me that some things on this phone will be a little worse than those on very expencive ones. The only problem to me is that there is not enough apps and games, but I'm sure that some of them will come out soon. :) March 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good phone It's a good phone but it has no NFC. But it's still a good mid-range phone if you are looking for a Windows Phone 8 device with tons of features that is 4inches. December 21, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice but Nice phone needs lot of improvements. I considered it like any other phone nothing interesting January 5, 2013
